China Kicks Off Second Stage of 6G Technical Testing
Ministry spokesperson Xie Cun revealed the first phase of 6G technical trials yielded a reserve of more than 300 key 6G technologies, according to state-run media.
The nation has constructed the globe's most extensive information infrastructure network, featuring over 4.8 million 5G base stations serving more than 1.2 billion subscribers, Xie stated.
China currently dominates global 6G patent holdings, positioning itself at the forefront of next-generation wireless development.
The emerging 6G standard promises revolutionary performance improvements over existing 5G networks, targeting data transmission speeds exceeding one terabit per second while achieving ultra-low latency of just 100 microseconds.
